Family Medicine, Sports Medicine
One could say that I am "locally grown". I am originally from Moweaqua, IL, and graduated from Central A & M High School. I had the opportunity to attend Millikin University for my bachelor’s degree before earning my medical doctorate from the University of Illinois. I completed a residency in family medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, and culminated my formal education with a sports medicine fellowship through Michigan State University – Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. I maintain board certification in both family medicine and sports medicine.
I enjoy offering comprehensive care to all ages with a special interest in non-operative musculoskeletal care and concussion management. I have had the opportunity to work with athletes at different levels of competition and feel gratified when they successfully return to their activities.
I enjoy participating in martial arts training with my children, in addition to reading and playing video games in my spare time. I am also a big fan of Star Wars.
