The Rehab Tech would be responsible for assisting the PT and PTA's with various patient care as needed. They would also help with wiping down equipment and tables before and after patients.
The Front Desk Receptionist’s main responsibility is to register patients of DOC. Receptionist is responsible for collecting accurate patient demographic and billing information upon check-in. Interviews incoming patients, enters their information into all appropriate software packages. Provides outstanding level of customer service via the following: greeting patients, verifying their demographic/insurance information, receiving co-payments, and directing the patient to the designated physician.
It is the job of the MA/CNA to room patient and obtain vital signs, input and or update patient data into her. Diagnostic test ordering, charging/billing of medical procedures, placing casts, splints, cleaning the cast room, setting up and assisting with injections/aspirations, cleaning exam rooms in between patients and after clinic. Note prepping, disability forms, pulling lab results and ordering potential next steps, ordering supplies, stock DME room, maintain hazardous waste, synovasure kits and culture tubes and labels.
It is the Physical Therapist’s job to evaluate all assigned patients, as well as develop and implement a plan of care that follows the referring provider’s recommendations. The Physical Therapist is responsible for delegating tasks amongst Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as Rehabilitation Technicians. The Physical Therapist is expected to serve as an educator to their patients and their loved ones. Also perform other professional duties as required by the patients and the rehabilitation department.
